WHAT IS UNDERBITE
Understanding
underbite
An underbite occurs when the lower jaw grows excessively or the upper jaw is relatively underdeveloped, causing the lower jaw to protrude. The causes include both genetic and environmental factors.
Environmental factors can mostly be treated with orthodontics alone. Even cases diagnosed for surgical correction due to genetic factors can be treated with non-surgical correction at Eins Dental, unless the condition is severe.
