CAUSES OF ASYMMETRY
Genetic &
environmental factors
Facial asymmetry can be caused by genetic factors such as developmental imbalance, or environmental factors such as injury, jaw resting habits, and instrument playing.
Environmental factors can mostly be treated with orthodontics alone. Even cases diagnosed for surgical correction due to genetic factors can be treated with non-surgical correction at Eins Dental, unless the condition is severe.
