WHAT IS RECEDING CHIN
Understanding
receding chin
A receding chin develops when the lower jaw is smaller than the upper jaw, caused by genetic factors as well as environmental factors such as childhood thumb sucking habits.
Environmental factors can mostly be treated with orthodontics alone. Even cases diagnosed for surgical correction due to genetic factors can be treated with non-surgical correction at Eins Dental, unless the condition is severe.
